Annealing processes serve to influence the structure of the material or to reduce internal tensions. These processes are done at temperatures up to approximately 1150°C.

Standard annealing processes are for example: Stress relieving, soft annealing, re-crystallization annealing, normal annealing, solution annealing, stabilization annealing, magnetic annealing (permeable annealing) etc.
